For a start an Archos, or the majority of their products are designed to cater more for a video browsing experience – not just music. iPods tend to be music players that can play videos and games as well. An Archos is a video player that can play music and games. To this end, whereas many iPods have small screens, many Archos devices have screens that can be anywhere from 4-7 inches across. This allows for the user to watch a video at a high quality or indeed in some of the devices, high definition.
